WHY NOW!

OK, So this is the first post that I have done that is not about Sadie! Sorry this might be boring for some. Well I have been VERY baby hungry.....and I am not really sure if I should follow through with it, or hope that it passes!! I remember allot in the Labor and Delivery room saying to my mother-in-law " I AM NOT DOING THIS AGAIN" Why is that? See thats the bummer I don't even know why I said that. For those of you who don't know, I went through a time of post partum Depression.... it was not a fun moment in my life, infact it was the probably the worst thing that I have ever gone through. I have somewhat an idea of some things that I will do differently next time around.............I hope that it works... I guess we will see! I would like to hear your thoughts!

First year flew by..........

It is SO crazy to think that Sadie was born a whole year ago.....I can't believe it! She has been such a blessing and is SO fun! I thought I would never say this but, im ready for another one! Everything that I wen't through the first couple of months was SO worth it! I would do it all over again for her in a heart beat! Mommy loves you Sadie!

A Pleasant Surprise

So your probably thinking that those M&M's look heavenly........well, not exactly. The Easter Bunny brought Eric some M&M's for Easter so yes I decided to have a couple because Eric was on the couch eating them. As I reached into the bag one fell out of my hand on to the floor, keep in mind ONE fell onto the floor. The sweet husband that Eric is he said " Oh I got it" He picked them up about to throw them in his mouth when he said "Wait, I just changed Sadie's bum, I think this might be poop" He smelled it " SICK IT'S POOP, I ALMOST ATE POOP"!!! HAHA Super funny! Just thought I would share how Eric almost ate poop! If any of you know Eric he is a BIG Germaphobe mostly when it comes to bowel movements!

HAPPY EASTER

Sadie's first easter was alot of fun! The night before Easter we went to Grandma Lees's house and colored eggs, of course she didn't really get it but she seemed very into it. She watched as we all colored eggs for a good 30 minutes! Isn't she cute! Love her!

Then on Easter Day we went to MaMe's house and she got Sadie the cutest stuff for easter. Not to mention she made the best dinner ever!

So the begining of this week Sadie was sleeping AMAZING at night at yes of course I thought it was starting to become a permanent thing. OH BOY was I wrong, long behold she was up all night wednesday night with a 103 Temp. We took her to the Insta-Care at Utah Valley Hospital and the doctor said she was fine and that nothing was wrong, So we just kept up on Tylenol thinking she was probly just teething! She had a really good morning friday and then sorta went down hill from there. Eric was at home with her for a couple hours after he got off work and said that she was really fussy up until I got home. So I decided somthing was up and took her to her normal family practice doctor, thank goodness for their late hours! We saw the doctor and she found out that Sadie had a Double ear infection and a Sinus infection. Never again will I go to the insta-Care. She is finally on some antibiotics and is feeling a little better as the days go by. YAY!

Sadie's First Christmas

So, Sadie's first christmas was SO much fun, we had Eric's family over for a BIG christmas breakfast! It was so good. Thanks to Eric. Although I did make these awesome squffins, is what I like to call them. As you can see, she was really tuckerd out and crashed on the couch! What a fun day!

After 6 hours of Labor and 10 minutes of pushing, Here she is Sadie Grace Kay. 7lbs 3oz.!

So here I am.........yes in labor, my water was leaking so they had to induce Labor at 2:00am.
your probably wondering, "Why does she look so comfortable"? well they had just started the Pitocin( Drug used to induce labor) so I was as happy as could be, I was so anxious to see my little baby girl that was on the way, and also very scared for what was up ahead. at 6am that was when the Pitocin kicked in...... I was feeling kinda crampy so i decided "why feel the pain if I don't need to"? right? So I told them to call the Epidural guy. ( I can't remeber what they are called) Little did I know.........right when he walked in..............BOOOOOOM, my first REAL contraction hit me. I thought I was going to KILL someone. That was the worst pain EVER!!!!!!!!!

FIRST TIME BLOGGING

Hey everyone! So Welcome to our blog, I hope to
finally figure out exactly how to do this soon. Well for those of you who don't know our story I would like to share it with you...!
Eric and I met in October of 2004, We worked at Albertsons together, he was a Cashier and I was a bagger, I admit to say that I would be standing at his checkstand way before he even got to work! Silly me, well shortly after that we started dating. Our first date was December 31st 2004, we became official on January 14 2005, and that's where it all started!!!!! We fell in love and Eric proposed to me on January 14Th 2007! I said YES of course and we were married on August,25Th,2007, the best day of our lives! The following year we got sealed for Time and all Eternity in the Mount Timpanogos Temple on August 29Th, little did we know, we were pregnant with our little Angel at that time. WOW, what an amazing experience. We love knowing that our family will be together Forever!!!!!!! Well that's a little bit about us. I will be posting a few things about Sadie soon!!!!
